Blessings Everyone,
What great weather we are having. Hope you are
enjoying Spring and that it has put a spring in your
step.
I have decided to have a bit of a spring clean
myself, this includes my crystals and my home, clearing
all for the new energy to come in. This is a good time to
cleanse and clear out our clutter.
This is a wonderful time of year for reconnecting
with nature so beautiful, go out and connect with this
amazing place we inhabit. I was sent this below and
wanted to share it......... go and hug a tree, feel it,
listen to it. Experience the connection that Mother
Earth has given us.
The
Energy of the Tree
The tree is connected to the
three worlds- The lower world by its root structure,
the trunk to the middle world and us, and the
branches and leaves to the upper world.
The Tree is also the connection
to the past and the Ancestors. It has stood for a
long time grounded into Mother Earth and drawing on
the energy of the sun and moon and rain.
By its connection to Mother
Earth it is fed by the mother from where it was
given life. It also receives life giving energy from
the sun and moon.
The Tree has energy lines and
growth rings. It vibrates with its own energy and is
in tune with the energy of what is growing around
it.
It has its own sound and song
that it sings in the wind, rain, heat and cold, and
is the same for all.
The timber of the Tree has been
used for thousands of years to create ceremonial
tools, instruments and a vast variety of sacred
objects to connect to ancestral beliefs, music and
storytelling.
When we work with timber we
give it new life, but it is important to do it in
the right frame of mind where we are thankful to the
spirit of the timber for its use and we work with
love and compassion. We create a connection with the
energy of the wood and it with us.
In this circumstance, the Tree
or wood remains alive. It lives through the
instrument maker.
The maker shapes and tunes the
wood and gives it sound and a song to share with man
, animals and nature.
The wooden instrument gives the
maker and player life, energy, and love, to share
with all who hears it.
It is then the player becomes
like the tree – grounded, strong and connected to
spirit energy.
We can tune wood to the
vibrations we understand and it resonates back to
us. We are speaking a language together and are
working with the vibrations of the ancients and
those energies can be shared with all. You can
either see it –sight, hear it – sound , or feel it –
touch.
We don’t own nature but if we
own the way we communicate with it and how we treat
it, then we too can have positive growth rings and a
[ure song.
